Cobalt are delighted to be working in partnership with a privately owned investment management business focused on Real Estate and Infrastructure assets globally. They are recognised as a market leader in their field and offer a wide range of services across the industry.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about ESG and have proven experience in sustainability performance metrics, specifically carbon emissions reporting and energy intensity benchmarking to drive this forward for the business.

Responsibilities:
  • You will support the company wide initiative of 70% emissions reduction by 2025
  • Engage with consultants to capture energy efficiency activities and on-site renewable opportunities
  • Work closely with Transactions to ensure data is collected at asset closing for populating the Energy Efficiency Checklist and iLevel ESG onboarding
  • Work alongside Asset Management and external consultants to maintain a tracking system which monitors capital investment, expense reduction, and ROI
  • Support the strategy, vendor selection, project implementation and reporting of onsite and off-site renewable energy initiatives
  • Oversee the management of utility and sustainability data collection, storage, and analysis,
    collaborating with procurement vendors
  • Support in the leading of implementation of bespoke social programs
  • Help execute annual fund-level ESG strategic planning sessions
  • Be involved in the completion of annual GRESB submissions, and aid in the publishing of the annual results and opportunities
  • Assist in engaging key development and operating partners in aligning ESG values, goals, and reporting in partnership with the HS team

Personal Specification
  • Ideally degree in a related field such as Real estate, Finance, Construction, Sustainability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management
  • Great attention to detail, placing a high priority on accuracy
  • Exceptional project and time management skills
  • Highly organised, proactive and resourceful
  • Be a team player and able to manage a full workload
