As a Barclays New Product Approval Analyst, you will primarily be assisting the New and Amended Product Approvals (NAPA) function. You will be involved in the day-to-day management of NAPA, Withdrawals and Post Implementation Reviews across all Barclays business areas. This is an excellent opportunity in which you will gain insight into a number of functions and business areas at once, you will work with a multitude of stakeholders in this high exposure role.

What will you be doing:
• Coordinating functional due diligence reviews across all functions, including Operations, Legal, Compliance, Treasury, Financial Crime, Tax, Risk and others as required
• Ensuring effective running of NAPA Committee meetings, including pack production, administration and minute taking
• Providing training to the business and functions on the completion of the front to end NAPA process, including the onboarding of proposals into the NPS System
• Assisting in the development of training materials on the NAPA governance framework
• Assisting in the coordination of information concerning regulatory and audit requests
• Ensuring data quality in assistance of regular Management Information production
• Assisting in annual NAPA Controls reviews
• Monitoring conditions of approval status and escalating issues as necessary

What we're looking for:
• Knowledge relating to any of Investment, Corporate, Private Banking and/or Cards/Payments products and services
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint or similar tools
• A Business or Finance related university degree at undergraduate level or higher; or equivalent

Skills that will help you in the role:
• A risk and control-oriented background
• Knowledge of Business Objects
• Knowledge of the Investment Bank, Corporate Bank, Private Bank and/or Cards and Payments business front-to-back process flows
• Engagement across functional areas (e.g. Operations, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Treasury, Tax and Risk)
