Job Description
Morgan Mckinley are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading and friendly client based in Swindon who are looking for a Commercial Accountant to join them on a permanent basis!

The company:Morgan Mckinley are working exclusively with a client based in Swindon they are rapidly growing, offer excellent benefits, career progression, flexibity and hybrid working. They are looking to recruit within their commercial finance team and are looking for a Commercial Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.

The role:

• Preparation of 10-year business plans for various scenarios including share sales, practice extensions and new business ventures
• Preparation and review of 10-year forecasts for existing practices at the different stages of their business life cycle
• Preparing indicative share valuations
• Working closely with the Regional Finance Managers and other departments including Treasury, Operations and Property to ensure accurate revenue, costs and financing in the forecasts and business plans
• Development of post investment reviews to ensure learnings from previous business plans
• Analysis on revenue and costs to continually update and challenge assumptions used in the financial models
• Maintaining the business plan and forecast models, ensuring they remain fit for purpose during the changing needs of the business
• Supporting with performance analysis to feed into Group Reporting team and FP&A team
• Support with the budget process by collating data, loading and testing

Key requirements:

• CIMA/ACCA studier or newly qualified Accountant
• Experience in balance sheets, cashflows and management accounts
• Confident and be able to speak to key stakeholders
• Benefit if experienced in preparing business plans
• Confident on Excel (pivots, v look ups, formulas)
