Who we're looking for
We're looking for a Multi-Asset Strategist to join our Multi Asset team supporting the Head of Multi Asset Strategy. You will cover three key areas; Existing Multi Asset Strategic Partnerships (MASPs); New business development for MASPs; and Thought Leadership.

The base
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.

What you'll do
The Multi-Asset Strategist role covers three key areas within Multi-Asset as follows:
(1) Existing Multi Asset Strategic Partnerships (MASPs)
• Producing regular review and ad-hoc presentations for MASPs, working with regional product teams
• Meet clients to provide explanation of MA process and other topics (such as market outlooks, education around multi-asset topics, and 'special' topics)
• Ensuring the consistent and efficient delivery of market insights by attending all the client calls and understanding client needs. Producing the monthly outlook slides. In time, presenting the outlook to prospects/smaller clients.
• Circulate materials used for one MASP with Multi-Asset colleagues who work with other MASPs
• Working with the relevant teams at Schroders to deliver appropriate training for MASPs.
(2) New business development
• Ensure RFPS/sections of RFPs relating to MASPs are completed with the highest standards possible and tailored to clients' needs
• Lead the development of presentations for MASP pitches
• Ensure spreadsheets of MASP assets and MASP PowerPoint collateral is kept up to date on a quarterly basis
• Work in collaboration with Distribution to offer a compelling MASP value proposition, present to prospects where necessary.
(3) Thought leadership
• Contributing to our Thought Leadership efforts through research coordination, writing, creating charts and discussion. In time, taking a lead on idea generation, story boarding and drafting the majority of Thought leadership papers
• Help to develop investment frameworks for strategic challenges faced by internal multi-asset portfolio managers and external asset owners, such as the integration of sustainability or portfolio construction methodologies
• Presenting Thought leadership material where necessary to MASPs, prospects, clients and internal stakeholders in investment and distribution teams
• Creating training videos/podcasts and other material to support the Thought leadership material.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• Relevant experience, multi-asset experience is preferred;
• Strong communication skills - able to present ideas/suggestions with confidence, represent MA views externally and speak confidently about markets;
• Strong technical and analytical skills; and
