Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage or support on projects within the scope of the Product department including the UK and Irish domiciled funds and in-scope services (including UCITS and NURS / OEICs and Unit Trusts / investment trust / model portfolio services).
  • These will include varied product development and change initiatives and product management / range maintenance projects.
  • These may additionally include product strategy and product governance initiatives, dependent upon capacity and business requirement.
  • Take ownership of initiatives from inception/concept stage through to delivery and/or work collaboratively with team members to do this.
  • Develop close working relationships within the business to ensure that projects/initiatives run smoothly.
  • Prepare proposals/other materials, maintain project logs and operate projects in line with the relevant policies/procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of industry developments and regulatory changes.

Background & Experience
  • Experience of UK and Irish domiciled funds, vehicles and regulatory regimes.
  • Experience in product development and management or other directly relevant experience.
  • Excellent analytical abilities (both quantitative and qualitative) and the ability to present complex issues and ideas clearly.
  • Good working knowledge of the financial markets and the key trends driving the asset management industry.
  • Ability to multi-task and use initiative to manage the completion of multiple deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to tailor these to the audience.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
