Senior Investment Director

We are currently representing an established UK SME Investor. It is an equity investor, focused on supporting growing businesses through development capital, MBO and equity release transactions.

Due to very strong growth and investment appetite, they are is seeking exceptionally talented Investment Professionals to join the team.

Your Role:

• Become a core member of the Investment Team
• Proactively source deals from your own contact base as well as identify high quality deals introduced through the existing contact
• Lead, structure and negotiate new Investment opportunities
• Work with the investee companies (existing portfolio and new) through to exit
• Be a natural networker with the ability to develop and nurture relationships with management teams
• Have a strong knowledge of the UK SME space

Your Requirement:

• At least 10 years of relevant equity investment experience
• A demonstrable track record of equity deals that you have led and managed
• Experience of working with and supporting growing SMEs
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, financial and commercial skills
• An ambition to develop and manage a portfolio of investments

Ideally, you will be an Investment Director in a lower mid market firm, investing equity in growth businesses and working with SMEs at Board level.
