You MUST have the following:
  • Strong experience as a PythonDeveloper/Software Engineer/Programmer
  • Excellent Python
  • Experience with Pandas, NumPy, SciPy
  • Some JavaScript
  • SQL
  • Excellent Agile experience working in small teams

  • AWS/GCP/Azure

Role: Python Developer (Software Engineer Developer Programmer Pandas SciPy NumPy Python TypeScript React AWS Amazon Web Services GCP SQL Agile Derivatives Finance Trading Equities Front Office Asset Manager Investment Management) required by our asset management client in London. You will join two others in the UK to make a team of three that will deliver a new portfolio analytics product that will provide management information across the whole of the equities business. This project, which is at inception, will collate data from across the businesses to provide data on which funds are performing the best and where their success is coming from. You will work with Python to access and aggregate the data and TypeScript (React) to visualise the reporting. The role will require a good blend of both back and front end front the start. It will be hosted on AWS.

You will come into the role with good Python and some JavaScript exposure, or better. AWS and React are advantageous but not essential. This is an excellent opportunity to get into finance and work in a department that is investing heavily into modern technology.

Salary: £95 - 130k + 20% Bonus + 10% Pension
