Who we're looking for
We are looking for a Team Assistant to join the solutions Investment team. The successful candidate will support the team in diary management and prioritisation, as well as developing and maintaining resources to support the investment process.

In particular, the role will involve the development and maintenance of central databases, the collation and analysis of portfolio data, and ongoing support for client queries. The successful candidate will contribute to the investment research process, such as by producing committee packs and other regular monitoring materials for PMs. The role will also involve the development/maintenance of investment content and marketing materials

The base
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.

The team
The role is within the Solutions Investment team, which is part of the Multi Asset division. The team consists of 16 investment professionals and is responsible for investment management of Schroders' fiduciary management strategies.

What you'll do
Working closely with other members of the team, the successful candidate will:
• Provide proactive diary management and coordination of internal and external meetings
• Input into meetings as required, including minute taking
• Provide support with ad-hoc social events
• Assist in the production and maintenance of investment content, e.g. marketing materials
• Drive data collection and analysis in relation to client queries
• Produce and interpret monitoring packs for fund managers and committees
• Produce weekly and monthly performance monitoring reports
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting to Consulting and Client Services teams
• Assist with quarterly requests to external investment managers
• Contribute to the RFP database as required, as well as maintaining internal Q&As
• Take responsibility for corporate reporting

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• 3 A-levels
• Experience of working with Outlook and Excel
• Experience of managing diaries for a range of stakeholders
• Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong organisation skills - must work to strict deadlines and manage conflicting demands
• Proactive attitude - able to plan in advance and anticipate requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Discretion and confidentiality are essential

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
• University degree preferable
• Advanced IT skills, with good knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Previous experience in the asset management preferable
• Investment literate, with knowledge of the asset management industry
• Previous experience working in a corporate environment
