About Schroders

We're a global investment manager. We help institutions, intermediaries and individuals around the world invest money to meet their goals, fulfil their ambitions, and prepare for the future.

We have around 5,000 people on six continents. And we've been around for over 200 years but keep adapting as society and technology changes. What doesn't change is our commitment to helping our clients, and society, prosper.

The base

We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly. We listen to each other as part of the team and can adapt to each other's preferred working requirements where possible.

The team

As part of the Product Marketing team, you will be working in a dynamic, stimulating and collaborative environment. Product Marketing performs a unique role which calls for a "joined up" skill set. Our talent lies in identifying the best ideas and USPs of our investment platform, then developing and delivering them to client-facing colleagues in the format will resonate best with our target audience. Applicants joining this department can expect to build on their investment knowledge, their distribution knowledge, and their content creation skills.

• Working with the Product team on centralised product content and campaigns.
• Developing the messaging for key products working closely with Distribution/Sales, Product and Investments.
• Analysing campaign and product content performance to optimise current strategies and inform future ones.
• Working with the central teams, including Proposition, editorial, social media, PR, corporate comms to formulate overall content strategy and pipeline.
• Working with the network of Product Executives and Investment Directors and maintain the cross-functional link on specific projects/campaigns.
• Supporting local marketing teams with product marketing, localisation and direction where appropriate.
• Creating and maintaining website content.
• Curating the Digital Sales Book, an internal digital platform where Distribution is accessing fund materials and define what funds are promoted in line with business priorities.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

• Strong writing skills with a fluent and logical style
• Experience working in the asset management industry
• Fundamental investment knowledge/understanding of portfolio management principles
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/ Adobe Creative Suite

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help

• Experience in product, product marketing, sales/distribution, investment writing or financial journalism
• Experience creating attractive and effective slides, videos, web content or other visual materials that require some creativity
• IMC or other industry qualifications
• Experience working with senior investment staff
• Experience working with Compliance

What you'll be like

• Highly motivated to deliver effective product materials and messaging
• Intellectually curious and genuinely interested in the asset management business
• Good at synthesising ideas and boiling down complex concepts into accessible language
• Able to take ownership of projects and run with them to completion
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
• Able to work collaboratively
