Trade Support

The role will support the Portfolio Managers and Traders with all post trade support covering the trade cycle front to back and all key life cycle events.

Whilst the main responsibilities are post trade, the role will sit very closely with the investment desk. Given said proximity, the right candidate will hear the investment decisions being made and the trades taking place, why the desk is trading in one product over another and how the investment strategy works giving a truly excellent learning culture.

Key duties will cover;

• Amending trade booking/check trade details
• Trade confirmations
• Reconciliation and investigation of all trade exceptions
• NAV calculation and reconciliation
• Trade reporting
• Compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting
• Ad hoc project work - increasing operational efficiency and mitigating operational risk

The fund is looking for strong sell or buy side operational experience with excellent knowledge of the trade cycle front to back. Agnostic on asset class coverage but the motivation and desire to learn complex asset classes and trading strategies will be essential.
