Who we are looking for
The Tax Reporting and Transformation Manager, an integral member of State Street's UK Corporate Tax Department, will lead change and transformation initiatives to streamline State Street's tax compliance processes and support State Street Corporation's international tax operations. The successful candidate will report to State Street's Tax Managing Director based in London who is responsible for State Street's Global Transfer Pricing Policy and other international tax matters.

What you will be responsible for
As Assistant tax manager you will
Tax Reporting and Compliance Support
  • Responsible for the monthly tax provisioning and reporting for certain EMEA and Asia-Pacific entities under US GAAP
  • Provide tax compliance support, including calculation of quarterly tax payments, collating tax return information and review of corporation tax computations prepared by external tax consultants
  • Assist with the preparation of transfer pricing and other tax documentation

Tax Projects
  • Lead tax automation and transformation initiatives to improve the tax compliance process
  • Ad-hoc technical research
  • Ad-hoc project work which include transfer pricing and tax audits

Strong accounting and transformation background

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified or Chartered Accountant
  • Tax qualification or relevant experience is beneficial but not essential
