Operating at the centre of global financial markets, our Global Markets professionals serve institutional clients including asset managers, hedge funds, banks and brokerages, pensions, endowments and foundations, corporations and governments.
Our FICC business focuses on buying and selling of securities in both cash and derivative instruments for interest-rate products, credit products, mortgages, currencies and commodities.

Team Description
The FICC Structured Investing Group specializes in structural planning for Global Markets' intermediation, investing and financing activities. This is a detail orientated, execution focused team, with individuals who thrive in fast-paced, changing environments.
Our core value is structuring and executing transactions which have firm tax, capital or accounting impact.
Based in London, the successful applicant will develop and execute structured transactions with a European or Asian angle. The role will require the applicant to analyse structuring opportunities and then execute and manage ongoing transactions and strategies.
Applicants should be self-starters who can work independently with minimum direct supervision. The applicant must be a strong team player and communicator, with the ability to work directly with third parties including consultants, legal and tax advisors, clients and other market counterparties.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing structured transaction proposals including modelling, accounting and tax due diligence around prospective and existing transactions
  • Perform due diligence with external advisors and progress proposals through the firm's internal approvals procedures
  • Execute transactions and manage strategies on an ongoing basis
