The Role

We are seeking an Associate Director to take responsibility of Marketing and HR. You will sit as part of the Senior Management team, playing a pivotal part in setting strategy.

HR Duties :
  • Taking the lead on all activity related to training and development
    • Managing the relationship with training providers
    • Assessing the training requirements of staff
    • Ensure a training timetable is in place
  • Setting performance objectives for consultants
  • Organising regular internal social events
  • Designing and implementing company policies that promote a healthy work environment
  • Developing compensation and benefits plans
  • Creating a benefits brochure
  • Ensuring Mason Blake's internal Diversity & Inclusion policy is robust, and reflective of that of our client base

Marketing Duties :
  • Raise brand awareness
  • Developing a marketing plan to launch Mason Blake within EMEA (Milan, Frankfurt & Paris) by close of 2022
  • Running regular marketing campaigns around hot industry topics, such as ESG, Women in Business and Black Lives Matter
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans in-line with company objectives to build awareness of the Mason Blake brand
  • Digital marketing: responsibility for driving relevant audiences to the website, understanding targets and updating web related posts
  • Managing the relationships with external graphic designers
  • Owning the written word in all marketing communications be that on the website, job adverts, social media, newsletters, or marketing emails
  • Organise and attend monthly and quarterly events with clients as well as client meetings
  • Prepare presentations for 'pitch for business' meetings for Consultants
  • Build awareness of competitor activity in the recruitment space to help differentiate marketing communications and campaigns
  • Work with senior management to best utilise and improve marketing processes
  • Take ownership of internal company communications
  • Update and manage our CRM system
  • Manage the company LinkedIn page

  • The direct report of one member of staff

What you need to succeed:
  • Working knowledge of the recruitment sector
  • 4-7 years' experience in a broad Marketing role
  • Experience running a Marketing budget
  • High level understanding of HR principals
  • An interest in Diversity & Inclusion and sustainability
  • The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels
  • Naturally customer service centric
  • Degree level education
  • Strategically minded
  • Ability to influence
