As the treasury manager, you will be responsible for the identification, monitoring, measurement, control, and management of structural balance sheet risks, including liquidity and funding, transfer pricing, foreign exchange exposure, and interest rate risk.

This role resides within Santander London Branch (Non-Ring-Fenced branch of Santander Corporate Investment Bank in the UK).

  • Developing the management of the funding and contingency plan.

  • Updating and maintaining the treasury policies

  • Designing and executing daily controls to mitigate liquidity and structural risks.

  • Managing treasury IT projects under the supervision of the senior managers

  • Preparing added value analysis required to enhance risk management proposals


What you'll bring.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject (engineering, finance, science, mathematics)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work with large datasets of numbers and from multiple sources to extract value


It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Financial risk management qualification

  • Seniority to interact and reach agreements with the key Stake holders at different levels

  • Project management skills

  • Solid knowledge of financial products

This is a full time permanent role based in Santander London branch, Triton Square
