Job Purpose Statement

This role is an integral part of the team responsible for maintaining efficient and accurate Revenue calculations, as well as reporting key data to the rest of the business and assisting with ad hoc queries.

Role Responsibilities

How you'll spend your time....
  • The calculation of revenues and rebates within the Billing / Accounts Receivable system. Analysis to be performed to ensure the movement in revenue is consistent with calculation drivers (e.g. financial market movements).
  • This role will also be responsible for the completion of various balance sheet reconciliations relating to the revenues booked to the general ledger to ensure accuracy of the accounts.
  • Involvement in projects as appropriate
  • Assisting with the external Audit process

  • Good knowledge of Excel (Vlookup, Sumifs etc)
  • Ability to be accurate and show good attention to detail

  • GCSE Math


Desired Capabilities

If you also had this, it would be great....
  • Previous work experience in Finance role.
  • Qualifications in Maths or Accounting.
  • Experience of working with SQL Databases and Business Objects.
  • Knowledge of the Workday Accounting System.
  • Ability to look at own processes and make improvements.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Previous experience and/or an interest in the Asset Management industry.
  • Experience working with Auditors.
