The Opportunity
A leading Australian bank with a global presence is looking for a senior capital management specialist with a deep knowledge of the regulatory capital landscape, to drive a number of key performance and reporting related insights and transformations across their Group Treasury function.
This permanent role will provide a platform for long-term career opportunities within the organisation, and offers sponsorship and work rights in Australia should they be required.
What you will do
You will lead the solution design and delivery of key regulatory capital related changes taking place across the industry to put this bank in a market leading position for the long-term.
In this role you will engage with senior leadership to influence key decisions using your deep subject matter expertise and analytical insights.
Working across multiple teams that are responsible for various aspects of regulatory capital you will drive strategic changes for new analytical and reporting capabilities.
You will also have the opportunity to provide detailed analysis on regulatory capital drivers for various products to ensure optimal performance across the bank.
Ensuring robust capital related regulatory reporting outputs are delivered and any changes required will be implemented.
Various aspects of regulatory capital interpretation and analysis for commercial solution delivery.
Experience required
Deep knowledge of regulatory capital from within the banking and financial services sector.
Proven experience delivering regulatory interpretations and solution implementation for capital management and capital reporting requirements.
An accounting qualification, or quantitative background in actuarial, mathematics, science, or similar will be highly regarded.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive commercial decisions.
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication.
