The role holder will have responsibility for tasks allocated to them to ensure that risk and governance oversight of our investments and of the activities of the delegated manager and other third parties are in place and secure. This role sits within the Investment Office working closely with Investment Management, Product and Investment Operations teams.

The Role:
The role holder will have responsibility for tasks allocated to them to ensure that risk and governance oversight of our investments and of the activities of the delegated manager and other third parties are in place and secure. This role sits within the Investment Office working closely with Investment Management, Product and Investment Operations teams.
What you'll be doing:
Risk & Compliance
- Supporting development of processes & procedures - liaising with SMEs and record keeping
- Governance support for Model Upload and Oversight
- Portfolio Management Breach oversight and root cause analysis
- Day to day operation of risk management system
- Controls monitoring for Investment Office portfolio management activity
- Supporting policy and procedures annual reviews
Governance
- Supporting Investment Forum and Committee secretary in their responsibilities
- Acting as secretary for the Risk Forum, Liquidity and Product forums
- Managing the Benchmark Log and Benchmark Annual Review process
Supplier Management
- Providing cover for Senior Management at Monthly Service Review (MSR) with outsourced investment manager and attending pre meets
- Monitoring deliverables from outsourced investment manager on a monthly basis and providing data ahead of MSR
- Assisting in managing suppliers
- Providing support for on boarding of suppliers and raising of purchase orders
Your skills and qualifications
- Knowledge of risk practices and regulatory environment, within investment management
- Knowledge of portfolio and/or fund management, instruments or products.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral and ability to communicate with senior management.
- Ability to work well and efficiently in a remote team
- High attention to detail
- Self-starter who is motivated and able to manage own workload
