Alternative Investment Manager - Management Accountant

An Alternative Investment Manager, focussed on insurance linked products who have been enjoying great success and growth are looking to bring a Management Accountant into their UK team.

The business have been growing rapidly, now boasting an AUM of over $90bn and are looking to IPO within the next few years

The Management accountant is a newly created position and will provide significant support to the UK Finance Manager. Given the growth and ambition of the firm, this position lends itself well to internal promotion.

Responsibilities

• The opportunity to own the month end and quarterly reporting processes
• The chance to support the Senior Finance Business Partner with Finance Manager with various projects such as implementing new systems and automation projects
• Aid with forecasting and providing variance analysis
• Assisting with activities beyond the remits of finance

Your profile

• A recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Prior exposure to management accounting, UK GAAP and FRS 102
• Possess a hands on attitude and be willing to get involved with ad hoc projects
• Be confident communicating with and presenting to a senior audience
