Are you a Business Analyst with experience in various Asset Management processes?

Resource Solutions are looking for a contracting Business Analyst to join a large global investment firm in London. Our client is a world-class asset manager, with various office locations worldwide!

As a Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of activities in relation to Investment Operations Change, specifically relating to Performance Measurement and Attribution.

You will be part of the dynamic Project Team, where you will need to adapt to changing business priorities and will perform a variety of project-related roles focusing on business analysis, problem solving and process assessment.

Our client is looking for the right candidate to join with an initial 6 month contract, helping analysis across various activities within global investment operations teams, primarily focusing on the Aladdin toolkit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analysing requirements and assessing new capabilities required to support the programme including Process Optimisation
• Working with internal teams, including Performance, Technology and Investment
• Capture and documentation of emerging risks and issues
• Support the Operations teams throughout the delivery cycle - change request process, team meetings, reviews, information sharing
• Managing the concurrency of activities while adhering to business priorities
• Provide technical skills as and when required to assist with analysis and timely reporting of data (mainly using Word, Excel, Visio/iServer)

Key Competencies:

• Detailed understanding of Asset management business and in particular, Performance and Attribution
• Strong business analysis skills using a recognised methodology
• The ability to demonstrate experience using standard analysis techniques and must have a strong knowledge of a variety of Asset Management processes
• Preferable to have had experience with Factset B-One and the BlackRock Aladdin platform
• Experience of working in a business analysis function
• Good software skills to manipulate and present information in PowerPoint and Excel
• Data analysis skills using Excel
• Pro-active, self-motivated, able to work using own initiative
• An effective team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Able to work to work on your own initiative and be quick to identify issues and dependencies, with attention to detail
