Purpose of Role:
These roles will be accountable for the delivery of change impacting Middle Office Operations functions supporting Aladdin Operating Platform Clients (M&G). The positions are to manage & implement the following change initiatives on behalf of clients into Global Delivery teams in Hyderabad.

The positions will be supporting :

  • IT Decommissioning
  • Operational Platform

While specific accountabilities have been pre-defined, the remit of this role is wide-ranging covering change impacting teams including, Reconciliations, Settlements, Income & Corporate Actions, Derivatives and Collectives, Treasury & Portfolio Operations and Reference Data. It requires a flexible, learning mindset and a willingness to work on own initiative on projects that require the design of operating models, complex change implementation, Aladdin functionality and system decommissioning.

Major Responsibilities:
The major responsibilities of the role are as follows:
  • Support Middle Office Operations Change control activities including:
  • Status reporting into the Change Co-ordinating team including escalation of risks impacting delivery of changes initiatives, MI and resource impact.
  • audit and risk assurance actions, working in close collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring there is a robust assessment and reporting process in place
  • Support Client optimisation change projects
  • Delivery of Change in operating models to Global Delivery Oversight (GDO)
  • Champion improvement initiatives and drive through to delivery working with the client and the GDO team
  • Managing resource capacity / impact on change deliverables across the GDO Team / Hyderabad who are the recipients once CR's are implemented.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider State Street teams to support Client's requirements for new markets & Regulatory Change and document operating models
  • Guardians of end-to-end operating model and associated governance framework, including documenting operating workflows in Visio
  • Provide support to Client Service Team & input into SRM's
  • Deliver excellent standard of service at all times, proactively managing client concerns in an open and transparent manner
  • Proactively manage personal development and support the development of others in the team
  • Work collaboratively and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance the team's controls and to support the improvement of the control environment

  • Ensure all activities are compliant with corporate standards
  • Maintain clear and effective communications with immediate colleagues and Senior Management
  • Deliver high quality, professional service to Aladdin Operating Platform Clients (M&G)

Specific Qualifications/Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for client service, and a proven track record of influencing at senior levels
  • Detail oriented and accuracy
  • Comfortable dealing with high levels of ambiguity
  • Ability to multi-task, and work flexibly
  • Ability to work under pressure/ to deadlines.


Previous Level of Experience:
  • Minimum 5 -7 years of financial services experience, in Asset Management Operations
  • Strong knowledge in at least one Middle Office Operations domain (Reconciliations; Derivative Operations; Corporate Actions; Portfolio Operations; Treasury Operations; Settlements; Reference Data & Pricing)
  • Strong Aladdin experience
  • Good knowledge of end-to-end operations model for investment management (front-to-back understanding)
  • Strong collaboration and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Proven delivery capability
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end operating model for investment management (front-to-back understanding)
  • Strong written and communication skills with ability to present to clients and senior management
