Wells Fargo is seeking a Markets Programme Manager

The Markets Change -Program Manager will join the Change Management Team to support a team of Business Change Managers and the International Markets Change Lead. The individual will serve as a trusted subject matter expert and Programme delivery manager to fellow Change Leads, Business Leaders, COOs and programme Sponsors.

The Markets Change -Programme Manager will lead on the Banks FX & Derivative Businesses initiatives across EMEA & APAC that may impact lines of businesses, legal entities and group functions e.g. Front Office, Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance.

In this role, you will:
  • Serve as a trusted FX & Derivatives Business leader and subject matter expert to the International Change Leadership as well as business leads, business COOs, sponsors and programme managers on their Growth Book of Work and cross-regional change activities.
  • Initiative sizing, scoping, and ensuring objectives and delivery of the International Markets Growth Book of Work against overall initiative(s) scope and overall inter-regional strategies.
  • Partner with key stakeholders in the CIB and International COO teams in relation to Enterprise and Internationally driven change portfolio that impacts the Markets Business.
  • Collaborating with the business, defines the required product, operating model or infrastructure changes are with the various impacted parties and works with the project managers to build this into the roadmap and delivery plans
  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert to the Markets Change Lead as well as business leads, business COOs, sponsors and programme managers on initiative sizing, scoping, and ensuring objectives and delivery of the regulatory change book and cross-regional change activities adhere to overall regional strategy.
  • Ensure changes to the business driven through BAU and project/programmes are sustainable and effectively embedded into business as usual.
  • Preliminary analysis to determine the most appropriate solution to achieve strategic goals, through detailed analysis of the business need, feasibility studies, benchmark/trade-off analysis, and development of high-level business requirements.
In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

Required Skills And Experience:
  • Extensive programme management experience within investment banking to lead a programme with two core objectives 1) Building a Markets (Technological, Operational and Client) capability in a new legal entity and 2) multi-regional new product enablement
  • Excellent Stakeholder management at up to C-Suite level
  • Strong experience working on FX/Derivatives trading systems.
  • Experience of working with traders and sales teams in a pressured front office environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering business change projects in a Markets context
  • Experienced at leading a team to convert business objectives into IT solutions
  • Experienced Business and Systems analyst with product and process knowledge across front office and support functions
  • Experience of working with development, business analysts, QA and release management teams to ensure product delivered is high quality, performant and fit for purpose.
  • Good time management and organizational skills especially within a matrix structure.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and experience of SharePoint & Confluence would be beneficial.
