About our client
Our client is a private equity fund which is on an aggressive growth trajectory and is therefore looking to hire a Finance Manager to its finance function. You will play a key role in the growth of the business, working across fund finance, investment and corporate accounting, alongside other ad hoc portfolio responsibilities. This varied role will also act as a key business partner for other middle and front office functions.
What the job involves

• Preparing quarterly investor fund reports and statutory financial statements
• Oversight of outsourced fund administration team which encompasses review of quarterly fund financials and management of fund liquidity, calls, distributions, payments, management fee calculations, investor queries and investment recommendations
• Fund cash flow modelling projections and performance forecasting
• Take ownership of group management accounts, regulatory submissions, audit and tax affairs
• Portfolio monitoring including the quarterly valuations process which involves liaising with the deal team on an ad-hoc basis
• Group cash forecasting including input into advisory fee process

Who we are looking for

• Qualified Accountant; sound understanding of relevant UK GAAP and IFRS, with strong experience in a similar role
• Excellent commercial judgement and analytical ability, and familiarity with venture capital
• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
• Highly proficient in Google Sheets/Excel, with strong modelling and analytical skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• High quality communication skills, both written and verbal
