About our client
A well-established private equity fund focussed on investing into multiple asset classes is looking to hire a paralegal to join their in-house legal team. The fund has a very impressive track-record and is well-regarded within the industry for its investments and core ESG strategy. They have had a very successful past couple of years and are looking to expand their legal team as the firm continues to grow.

What the job involves
As the Paralegal, you will support the legal team through all stages of the investment cycle, from fund formation and reporting to closing and post-closing services. Within this role, you will get the chance to work across the business, taking on a number of fund-based and transactional legal tasks. You will work closely with the funds and deal teams whilst reporting to the Head of Legal. This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to join an award-winning firm, gain in-house experience and really grow their legal career!

• Support the in-house legal team on both transactional and funds work
• Maintain electronic copies of all key legal documents such as fund agreements, support certificates and tax forms
• Communicate with relevant external parties including the external counsel, fund administrators and other key service providers
• Collaborate with the funds, deal and business development teams to ensure all necessary regulatory concerns are addressed
• Ensure compliance with all transactional processes and reporting requirements

Who we are looking for

• Experience working as a Paralegal in the private practice space
• An interest in private equity and the private markets would be advantageous
• Excellent organisational and management skills, with experience working on various projects at the same time
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
