This multi-strategy investment fund managing multi-billion portfolio is seeking a Portfolio Analyst with a desire to contribute to a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial firm.
This role is part of the investment team and will monitor, analyze, and report on external manager investments.
Your work will make a tangible difference to firm's success.
As a Portfolio Analyst on the investment team, you will be responsible for analyzing investment strategies and assisting and developing institutional portfolio construction processes.
The candidate is expected to use rigorous quantitative methods to validate their research.
This role will interact directly with the senior members of the team.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of (liquid alternative) investment diligence.
• Experience sourcing and evaluating potential investments and presenting results to a committee.
• Experience monitoring and reporting on existing investment portfolio.
• Working knowledge of investments, markets, and portfolio construction.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to translate analysis into easily digestible information.
• Programming knowledge (Python a plus) and willingness to learn and apply to improve job function.
• Desire to work in a challenging and collaborative setting as part of a small, close-knit team.
