Description

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities, Operations Manager

* Onboarding new funds and seg mandates including coordinating DDQs, legal agreements,
setting up operational processes including trading and reporting requirements.
* Coordinate IFA presentations/factsheets (alongside sales support) ensuring finance
team/analyst inputs are provided to deadlines.
* Coordinate monthly/quarterly internal reporting & IC packs ensuring all parties provide data,
packs are reviewed and sent to relevant parties within deadlines.
* Link (ACD) relationship
o Build and maintain relationship with Link
o liaise with Link on all queries from public investment/sales team
o Manage risk/compliance visits (alongside compliance)

* JP Morgan (depositary for SEC) - liaise with all queries.
* Segregated mandate relationships - liaise with Investor as needed ensuring reporting
requirements are met along with adhoc queries.
* Ownership of the RFP/DDQ process and ultimate sign off on completion for all strategic equity
funds including the VCTs
* Implementing new IT systems across public/private equity teams
* Responsibility for maintaining current IT systems including Factset/Financial Clarity/Bloomberg
including updating historic information where needed.
* Manage finance administrator

* Oversee middle office support/trading including:
o Corporate actions
o Proxy voting
o Broker onboarding (adhoc)
o Manage insider trading
o Review daily blotters prepared by finance administrator
o Monitor compliance rules in Bloomberg
o Monitor funds trading in line with prospectus
o Review all disclosures (TR1s and Rule 8s)
o Bloomberg administration ensuring portfolios and NAVs are correct
o Monthly validation sign off for equity funds

Profile

Skills & Experience, Operations Manager, City of London, Financial Services (FUM)

* Sound technical knowledge of the Funds industry
* Previously held an Operations and Trade Support role within a small team / business
* Strong project management and organisational skills
* Previous related industry experience essential
* Bloomberg experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently
