  • Ensuring that all aspects of month end checklist relating to acquisitions (not core) are complete and signed off on a monthly basis
  • Working closely with the AP team to ensure purchase ledger is closed on time and that any late invoice accruals are captured.
  • maintaining a breakdown of the cost of investment for each acquisition and reconciling this back to the information provided by the M&A team.
  • Maintenance of the general ledger in Access Dimensions and setting up new COA structure for each acquisition
  • Producing monthly spend analysis for the relevant budget holders and identifying any spend which requires review / further investigation

To be considered for this role you'll need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with broad experience gained in a financial services organisation. You will need to be extremely organised and comfortable being able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Given the nature of the organisation, there will be potential for this role to move to a permanent position in the future, however you will need to be immediately available or on a short notice period.
