Adding a degree is limiting when trying to cast a net to wide range of diverse candidates as it can deter those from a socioeconomic standpoint. From a UK employment point of view, if we were ever tried in a court, we would have to prove why we think its necessary for someone to have this specific (Finance and/or Technology) degree to do this role.
I don't think a specific degree is necessary to do this role and including that in the job description isn't crucial to get the candidates you want to see. When you specify "Business Analysis, Data Management, or Data Quality" - it is likely someone either didn't major in these specific degrees to be able to perform the role we're describing but rather have gained relevant working experience to get the exposure needed.

The Q&A without "2022" is the old one, we had issues editing it hence we had to copy and create a new one. Please go ahead and use the new one, the only thing that changed is the question if they have currently have a non-compete.

For outside UK, depending on the teams they are using different Q&As. For exp I think it would be "BLP - Primary EMEA (Non-UK) Experienced External"
You can let me know if you want to edit this Q&A whilst checking with other recruitment team which questions make sense for non-UK reqs
