This prestigious, global credit fund are looking for an Associate to join their illiquid credit team. Already accounting for over a fifth of the firms AUM, this is a fast growth area for them with plenty of deployable capital and further fund raising underway.
Working closely with the Portfolio Manager and 2 VPs, you will be supporting the entire investment process, with the aim that you will be running deals independently up to Investment Committee stage within 6 to 12 months. The team is incredibly busy, looking at up to 40 deals per year and aiming to transact on around a quarter of those.

The Role:
- Supporting the team with the review and execution of illiquid credit transactions
- Review of potential transactions; due diligence; assessment of risk; present recommendations to investment committee; manage the execution process
- Liaise with relevant departments such as portfolio management, risk and legal
Requirements
- Experience in an Investment Bank within Structured Credit / ABS / DCM
- Outstanding academic profile
- Strong quantitative skillset
- Experience of dealing with the banks investment committee
- Strong communicator
