About our client

What the job involves
- Board seat responsibility for a number of portfolio companies
- Liaise on a regular basis with portfolio company management teams/finance directors to ensure plans are on target
- Working closely with CEOs and Business Owners as a trusted strategic advisor, responsible for further investments, talent resourcing, negotiating with key stakeholders and exit planning
- Liaise with external auditors through the valuation process
Who we are looking for
- An experienced UK investment and/or portfolio professional who has sat on numerous UK company boards
- Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with management teams and affect real change and growth in portfolio companies
- A track record of managing further investments, and planning and executing exits
- Strong financial modelling, accounting and business analysis skills - rigorous, accurate and detail orientated
