Department Overview
The RCoE is a global utility providing reconciliation services across BNY Mellon including reconciliation of over 300 million items a month, reconciliation break reporting and central reconciliation governance. This role plays a leading part in the RCoE's Reconciliation Transformation strategy across the whole organization. The role is a Program Manager leading a substantial body of work cutting across multiple lines of business, involving complex process and/or organization change requiring a blend of leadership and strategy whilst maintaining oversight of data analytics and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Leads and provides direction and guidance for a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
- Managers and oversees the end-to-end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, internal client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of high complexity. Direct and controls all work performed. Reports and escalated progress/status to Sr management as needed.
- Develops detailed project plans and schedules projects, including goals, risks and resource allocation. Monitors project results for significant deviations.
- Oversee the elicitation and prioritization of business requirements; together with the translation into functional design and use case models.
- Manages vendor and client relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met. Maintains regular contact with clients and coordinates and report on project progress and accomplishments.
- Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the project. May coordinate resources across organizational boundaries.
- Serves as a liaison between clients and internal groups to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification. Manages communication with business leaders at a detailed functional level and discusses/resolves issues. Manages client expectations and ensures project delivery.
- Develops project scope, objectives, constraints and assumptions for large and complex multi-year programs. Has demonstrated ability to push projects to completion with sound planning and persistent execution. Aligns resources, seeks the input of key constituents, and manages others to achieve desired results.
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
- 10-12 years of total work experience in Project Management preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
