You'll work as an ITAM in DWP's Tech Services. We're the backbone of DWP Digital. We deliver secure, effective and cost-efficient digital infrastructure services and run the live IT operations behind digital innovation for 110,000 colleagues and around 22 million users.

You will be responsible for ensuring the IT assets and data across this huge, complex portfolio of work. You'll ensure integrity and accuracy, and also supporting the adoption of new technology - making use of automation wherever possible to increase process efficiency and accuracy.

You will have responsibility and accountability for the Software Asset Management of the highest tier publishers. You will gather deployment data and engage with stakeholders, in order to ensure our asset processes are effective and compliant.

When you need to you'll take the right corrective actions to resolve areas of non-compliance or breaches to policy and agreements.

You will help develop asset management strategies, policies, standards, plans, procedures and guidelines.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
  • History of identifying and managing key stakeholders to achieve the right outcomes
  • Experience of maintaining a culture of achieving value for money at the centre of daily activity
  • Experience of delivering strategic direction to teams and steering teams through change
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools to interpret and present data
  • Proven understanding of IT Asset Management.
  • Proven track record of continual service improvement delivery.
