There is an exciting opportunity to join Macquarie's Equities Facilitation and Trading team where you will have the autonomy to manage your own book and the flexibility to develop your own investment strategy. This is a great role where you will support the growth of our facilitation capabilities across Australasia for both onshore and offshore clients. This role will also offer interaction with Sales, Sales Trading, Equity Capital Markets and Research to enable you to help manage the firms balance sheet and equity risk positions. Please note that the role will be based in Auckland, New Zealand and we would love to connect with any Equity Trading professionals who are open to relocation or looking at a move back home.

Ideally, you will come with:
  • Prior direct experience in a risk trading role
  • A proven track record of managing risks and generating revenue via a thought-out investment process
  • A detailed knowledge of risk management in an equities investment environment
  • A high level of drive, commercial acumen and accountability with a willingness and ability to make quick, considered decisions
  • Strong client relationship management skills
