Grade : 12/13 (for internal purposes only)
The Location: London

The Head of Regional Marketing for Europe, Middle East, and Africa is based in London and reports to the Vice President, Marketing for S&P Global Commodity Insights. In this role, you will be responsible for regional marketing strategy development and implementation and have the unique opportunity to build, shape, and lead targeted investments and approaches during a time of critical commercial and business transformation and growth.

The Team: EMEA Marketing are a team of specialists responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive marketing plans to achieve regional sales and marketing growth objectives. These objectives are met primarily through account or audience-based programs and events that generate opportunities from highly targeted reputation and awareness, audience acquisition, retention, expansion and/or cross-sell programs. This team partners closely with sales leaders, account managers, client service and other cross-functional teams to achieve results.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Inspire a high-performing strategic marketing team, including hiring and developing top talent and succession
  • As a member of the management team, continue to evolve marketing from a support function to a key strategic lever in achieving business objectives
  • Develop and oversee the execution of a digital marketing strategy that aligns to the company and commercial growth strategy and business plan
  • Ensure the execution of relevant, inbound, and outbound marketing activities create positive customer engagements and experiences
  • Be the voice of the customer within the organization and inform strategy and investments from the market and customer need across key markets and segments
  • Reflect, articulate, and promote the mission, vision, and brand, to ensure all internal and external communications adhere to brand standards
  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on impact of programs
  • Budget acumen and responsibility for delivering the targets within budget guidelines
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales and marketing environments, preferably in energy and commodities, financial or technology sectors
  • Proven ability to lead measurable results in demand creation and pipeline contribution/acceleration
  • Superior leadership and collaboration skills, people, culture and project management experience and ability to demonstrate results and impact on commercial goals
  • Strong oral/written communications skills
  • Strong collaboration skills in order to effectively engage with sales and other functions (content, product, operations)
  • Ability to connect creative thinking and bold actions to drive business results
  • Bachelor's degree required in marketing, business administration, or related field; MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus
Compensation: Compensation is commensurate with experience including a competitive base salary, bonus opportunity, and competitive benefits package.
