Your team
You will be working in our IB Credit Risk Control (IB CRC) team in London - we are responsible for independently assessing transaction risks, constructively challenging all diligence work and financial modelling produced by front office and for monitoring and controlling all risks in our IB loan portfolio.

We serve as a second line of defense function and we are charged with independently assessing all risks associated with the origination, distribution and retained portfolio of corporate and leveraged finance transactions. Our team is directly responsible for assigning risk ratings and for ensuring our analytical standards are in compliance with regulatory expectations.

Your expertise
• a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline and formal credit risk training/experience (CFA not required but level 1 or 2 would be viewed favorably)
• strong knowledge of financial accounting concepts
• at least 2+ years of relevant working experience in commercial lending and other structured lending transaction environment
• solid credit skills as well as verbal and written communication
• proficiency required in MS Office particular in Excel and Word; experience with Bloomberg and KMV is desirable
• a strong collaborator and confident communicator
• open to learning numerous applications specific to our Risk function
