Responsibilities:
  • Business development: further developing the UK client base, particularly within the wholesale segment, with a focus on investors who understand and appreciate long-term investment strategy and distinct investment strategy and responsible investing style
  • Contribute to the UK business development, marketing, and client-servicing strategy, in coordination with the UK Investor Relations team manager
  • Raising awareness of the brand in the UK via the hosting of dedicated events, participation in targeted industry events and contributing to a targeted UK press strategy
  • Client servicing: manage existing relationships with UK investors, maintaining reputation for high quality servicing by relationship managers with a product specialist-level of knowledge
  • Monitoring UK platform relationships and helping in the proposition development by increasing range of funds, in conjunction with UK Investor Relations Support and Fund teams

Requirements:
  • Example of successful professional experience in a Sales/Business Development or Product Specialist role covering UK-based wholesale clients.
  • A good understanding of UK platforms, rating agencies and the institutional market is a plus
  • Strong product knowledge and technical understanding of equity funds and markets, proven ability to deliver a high degree of investor sales in an autonomous manner
  • Independent, committed and self-motivated person with excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong organisation skills, ability to organise successful investor events
  • Demonstrated marketing skills, ability to formulate and execute strategy
  • Understanding and willingness to efficiently market the strategic investment approach and ability to achieve robust long-term client retention and business development results at above average profitability
  • Languages: Native English speaker. Good command of another European language would be an advantage but is not required for this position
