Role Overview:
The Market Abuse Analyst is an professional role within a quickly growing and developing function. This role will focus on reviewing data for possible market abuse within a highly focused and driven team. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic data from multiple sources within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review trading activity for potential market abuse
- Assist with the generation of regular governance documentation and ad-hoc requests
- Support local managers with day to day running of function
- Develop analytics and reporting to track effectiveness of process and identify potential process improvements
- Contribute to developing enhancements of Work Flow Management tool
- Provide thought leadership in continually reviewing process and identifying improvements
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

- Experience in risk management and/or regulatory compliance in one or more of the following risk disciplines: technology risk, business continuity, operational risk, supplier risk, or audit and controls. Broad knowledge of other risk areas, with strong understanding of supplier or third-party risk impact in a financial services company is a plus . Demonstrates knowledge of in-scope business and Experience within a financial services Surveillance team an advantage
- Experience with work-flow systems
- Strong organizational skills.
- Outstanding relationship building and relationship management skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
