Capital Reporting Change Director experience Finance Change is an exciting, highly collaborative team with colleagues based globally in EMEA, Americas and Asia. The department boasts a wide range of skill-sets ranging from project managers, business analysts, data scientists, business architects and more to deliver to the objectives of a varied CFO change portfolio.   • Strong experience delivering capital, liquidity and/or treasury transformation as a programme lead/director
  • Experience within Financial Services ideally Investment Banking.
  • Strong experience in capital including capital reporting, capital adequacy and/or Basel 3 reporting#
  • Responsible for ensuring all team assigned projects follow the Project Methodology and procedures and provides guidance to drive projects towards successful outcomes
  • Communicate and educate other areas and project resources across the Group as appropriate to make them aware of the standards and methodology. Leverage shared resources where possible
  • Monitor the delivery of the team's firm wide projects as planned against the required methodology, standards, timeframe and budget
  • Manage several resources which may include Programme and Project Managers, Business Analysts and Project Analysts
  • Responsible for achieving appropriate governance and transparency for team projects so that the appropriate oversight and reporting is achieved
  • Responsible for the consolidated reporting of the relevant project portfolio(s).
  • Identify potential project and programme risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concern. Influence and escalate where necessary, identify where business engagement is low, any impact or delay project deliverables, and ensure appropriate escalation through project escalation chains including Project Sponsor, SteerCo and appropriate governance committees/forum

Profile

Capital Reporting Change Director should have both a strong theoretical understanding of capital reporting, capital adequacy and/or Basel 3 and extensive practical experience and should be able to demonstrate that expertise with concrete examples.
  • Proven Banking & Financial services experience with strong business & functional knowledge covering Investment and Private Banking financial products and how a bank's finance function operates
  • Proven track record of program delivery of change across both business and technology architecture, ideally with an understanding of big data technology
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with credible knowledge of the finance function
  • Knowledge of core Finance applications and business processes, particularly in Regulatory Reporting
  • Proven track record of program delivery of change across both business and technology architecture
  • Understanding of the firm's front to back data architecture and operating model at the enterprise wide level and in the context of regulatory reporting in particular
  • Detailed understanding of new capital, liquidity and treasury regulations and implications on the bank's reporting needs
  • Excellent business and functional understanding and experience of how the bank's finance function operates
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure as they relate to regulatory reporting
  • Ability to steer high and strong performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Leading, upskilling and motivating a team in a multi-disciplinary and global environment, delivering products within specific timescales and working alongside multiple senior stakeholders/ business partners
  • Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and prioritise tasks for oneself and others, and work under pressured timelines
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
