Recognized subject matter expert with strong commercial awareness. Is an acknowledged authority both within and outside area of expertise. The product program coordinator will be the key point of contact with Risk on Policy and Standards changes, coordinating with internal and external audits. Execution, delivery and closure of Corrective Action Plans, and leading the integration of Consumer and Private Banking portfolios. The coordinator will also provide support and guidance to origination and underwriting teams concerning the Product Program interpretation for transactions to comply with appropriate standards. The product coordinator also will liaise with peers to perform portfolio and product programs review. The regional coordinator needs to understand the regional market environment and clients' evolving needs o keep product offering competitive. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Provides advanced judgment and conducts in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions with significant impact on the business.

Responsibilities
  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running the Global Wealth Margin Lending product program.
  • Provides strategic direction and feedback with respect to initiative or program creation, alignment to business goals, stakeholder management, executive communications and so on.
  • Builds and manages relationships with key stakeholders, organizations and business heads.
  • Identifies and drives resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work.
  • Collaborates with Senior Management on cross functional areas and other programs, as appropriate.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets business objectives.
  • Collaborates with Program Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business goals.
  • Manages the process with other departments if resources are being borrowed in order to ensure the program can be completed.
  • Manages the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
  • Manages the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
  • Manages program team which could include matrix management of director-level, senior program manager-level and other staff, as appropriate.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, with a MBA desirable.
- Extensive credit and lending experience with a large financial institution: Private Bank or Institutional Investment Finance highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills, and good understanding of markets and its financial instruments.
- Familiar with guidelines and regulations governing the extension of credit.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Good communication skills, with an ability to negotiate effectively with bankers, clients, internal peers, inside/outside counsel, etc.
- Mastery of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
