ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for React News advertising and event revenue in Europe, reporting into the Head of Europe Sales. You will support the team on advertising sales, operations, prospecting, partnership queries, webinar operations and some additional admin tasks.

You will be/become an expert on both the real estate market, our subscriber base and systems as an Advertising Sales Associate with a market-leading news, research, data and technology company.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • You will be in charge of persuading current and prospective advertising clients and subscribers to partner with React News.
  • You will be prospecting for partnership opportunities using LinkedIn, Cognism, Salesforce, Preqin, social media, and any other tools at your disposal, to find and contact decision makers for advertising opportunities.
  • You will build and manage a database that will include finding out who controls the advertising and marketing budget, their focus sectors and regions and when their planning and budget cycles are taking place for our target partnership organisations.
  • You will maintain refresh our sales decks when necessary
  • You will be calling and emailing to set up meetings
  • You will be doing meeting preparation and research for your own meetings; You will be putting together advertising proposals and negotiating the agreements and will become an expert on both the value of our product and our client base, using case studies, statistics and our engagement and readership figures.
  • You will be closing our advertising deals and recording the details.
  • At times, you will be working with our clients' agencies (PR, Marketing) to deliver on planned campaigns. This may involve changing advertising or content on our website.
  • You will become operationally excellent at webinars and supporting our editorial team with our virtual events.
  • You will work closely with our editorial team to curate the events / webinar calendar and source high calibre panellists.

  • WHAT YOU'LL NEED

You have a track record of client relationship management and sales with at least two years' experience. You are highly motivated, eager to learn, and coachable, with a great go-get attitude. You are disciplined, control your schedule, and have great work and admin habits. You have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Real estate market knowledge is a plus. Continental European languages is a benefit as is knowledge of sales technologies.
