Our client is one of the most reputable VC and Growth players with an excellent track record in investing in technology businesses across Europe. Its IR team is now looking to hire a dynamic, commercially-minded and entrepreneurial Analyst/Associate who will be fully dedicated to supporting all elements of Investor Relations and Fundraising.
What the job involves
As an Analyst/Associate, you'll be reporting to the Investor Relations Manager and Operating Partner and will support all aspects of IR and will project manage the fundraising efforts for the firm. This is a unique opportunity to embark on a blended, commercially-focused role at a firm that offers excellent prospects for growth and development.
  • Developing and drafting fundraising materials such as DDQs, pitch books and case studies through to joining investor meetings and managing due diligence processes
  • Respond to inbound investor queries in a timely manner, often needing to coordinate with internal teams such as Investment, Finance, Operations and Legal
  • Plan, prepare and deliver internal and external documentation and information for key events: annual meetings, advisory board meetings, quarterly updates etc
  • Conduct market and competitor research
  • High exposure to the firm's partners, as well as all functions and teams from across the firm
  • Excellent prospects for growth and development in this small, but fast-moving and nimble team
Who we are looking for
  • Educated to a degree level with experience in investor relations, placement agent, lead advisory and/or corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting or law
  • Commercially minded and technically astute
  • Highly organised with excellent project management skills
  • Comfortable understanding financial/performance terminology
  • Structured thinker with high levels of initiative and ability to think on your feet and stay calm under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong work ethic, collaborative team player, and high level of integrity
  • Fundamental interest in VC and the progress of technology in society
