Who we are looking for
Responsible for leading the Business Management function providing comprehensive financial and portfolio management business management support to the Investment Services and Global Delivery Technology teams. The role is global and will involve regular interaction with senior management across Technology, Operations, Finance, and the Front Office Stakeholders.

What you will be responsible for
As Head of Financial and Portfolio Management for Investment Services and Global Delivery you will
  • Work with Technology leads as trusted partners to define and execute a technology strategy that is aligned to Business priorities
  • Establish a financial governance framework to drive financial discipline and investment alignment to our strategic goals - this will , including include toolset, process and control procedures through to reporting and metrics
  • Lead and facilitate governance forums to drive delivery against our strategic goals of delivering against our business and operational goals.
  • Develop a project costing framework to forecast and track financial progress, ensuring a direct link to our resource capacity model, ensuring full adoption and roll out across Global Technology
  • Lead the transformation of the cost allocation process, creating financial transparency for our business partners - with particular focus on creating a total cost of ownership model to drive data driven decision making in our investments.
  • Lead the demand management process to ingest new project demand, facilitate prioritization by relevant stakeholders, and track with appropriate change control processes
  • Establish centralized reporting and analytics to provide early warning indicators of issues
  • Drive improvements in data quality and hygiene through regular reviews and engagements with the various divisions across Global Technology


Detailed responsibilities include:
  • Liaise closely with Technology and PMO teams to ensure clear line of sight and control against the Book of Work and wider IS & GD Technology organization
  • Work across Technology Executives and teams, in particular the PMO teams to develop and maintain a multiyear plan and roadmap and track versus plan
  • Act as a single point of contact for business partners to understand front to back Technology allocations
  • Deliver monthly / quarterly business review meetings with key stakeholders, comprising of financials, non-financial and technical content versus plan. Co-chair with CTO and Tech leads where appropriate.
  • Drive financial and resource planning processes through engagement with stakeholders and ensure data capture is completed in required systems (Clarity, etc)
  • Partner with PMO to define measures of success for each project and communicate as required to executive forums and central management.
  • Manage / track investments in line with agreed funding targets and ensure relevant escalation
  • Analyse new business demand leveraging an ROI review process, helping with prioritization
  • Enhance financial and non-financial reporting standards to improve transparency and accuracy, as well as promote standardization and automation of tasks and processes
  • Ensure GL and planning tools (Clarity) are accurate - address any breaks with relevant owners
  • Optimize spend profile through assisted management of productivity initiatives
  • Manage and track vendor strategy
  • Manage and track Infrastructure strategy
  • Manage and track T&E costs
  • Prepare agenda and materials for team and stakeholder meetings - Co-Chair where appropriate
  • Conduct analysis and present findings in response to mgmt. and ad hoc requests, ensuring accurate and timely delivery

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years experience in previous Business Management, PMO, Finance or other related area expertise
  • Experience matrix managing large organizations
  • Experience with data visualization and report automation desirable
