JOB OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a strong Lead Business Analyst to drive broad firmwide adoption of our next generation Wellington Investment Strategy Environment (WISE) IT platform. This newly developed and evolving platform will enable investors to monitor their investment strategies, and gain insights into how strategies are performing. This platform will not only allow Investors to view strategy level exposures, performance, and risk, but they will also be able to order size based on strategy. This is an exciting and complex program that will benefit the broad investor community and requires coordination among multiple core business and IT for a successful delivery. This position will be responsible for promoting and supporting the use of the new WISE platform; and ensuring that a support model is in place to govern appropriate use of WISE, end-user training and engagement is provided, and appropriate controls have been implemented. This individual must be a self-starter with the ability to innovate and drive projects forward. This individual should have the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of assignments with people across the global organization. Excellent organization, communication, and delivery skills are required. This individual must be a team player with a desire and willingness to learn. This position requires strong analytical skills, with a high attention to detail, and a desire to analyze and solve complex problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define controls and procedures to establish best practices for use of the WISE platform and ensure ongoing data quality and accuracy

• Manage the onboarding of new investment products globally to the platform

• Provide end user training to investment and product management teams

• Work with investment teams to configure new products on the platform

• Facilitate prioritization of product onboarding

• Manage platform enhancement requests

• Interact directly with business partners at all levels of the organization to define, analyze, and document requirements, as well as set priorities

• Work with IT to define implementation approaches

• Develop a deep understanding of internal systems and related datasets to help with solution design as well as handling support issues

• Provide platform support

• Respond to and research strategy tagging data and application related issues

• Representation at incident review for any issues involving WISE

• Socialize the WISE program

• communicate firm level updates, raising awareness of WISE capabilities with the broader firm to ensure maximum awareness and adoption of WISE

• Assist with project management activities

• Provide regular status reporting to the department and Steering Committee.

• Collaborate across numerous business and IT groups to drive the adoption and evolution of the WISE platform including Investment Teams, Product Management, IBOR (Investment Book of Record), Performance, Client Reporting, and PC Team

• Act as a champion and trusted advisor for the needs of the business partners

• Develop a strong partnership with the IT delivery team to ensure on time, scalable, and high-quality business solutions

QUALIFICATIONS
• 7 - 10 years of experience working in the investment management or financial services industry

• Solid understanding of various financial instruments as well as investment data concepts such as holdings, transactions, analytics, performance, and risk required

• Change agent, driver, creative, innovative, and focused on continuous improvements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail

• Willingness to work independently in an energetic, fast-paced, business-critical and team oriented-environment

• A strong team player, with ability to work in collaboration across global teams

• Intellectual curiosity and interest to learn independently and from peers

• Strong data analysis skills along with hands-on knowledge of SQL, or another relational database technology

• Experience with Python and familiarity with JIRA will be a plus

• Experience working directly with and supporting portfolio management teams is a plus
