As a Barclays Asset Servicing Analyst, you will be working as part of a team responsible for managing the transfer of client portfolios in and out of our company. Our Asset Servicing function manages client's assets to ensure timely processing of corporate events and the allocation of income and distributions. This is an exciting and fantastic opportunity to join a fast moving team to who are accountable for providing world class client service across a diverse client base.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

What will you be doing?
• Processing of operational tasks across the client portfolios
• You will be accountable for the delivery of work against measures in place to track productivity and accuracy
• Validating and verifying work produced by others using quality assurance processes
• Coaching junior team members
• Identifying breaches and/or risk events and completion of root cause analysis
• Being accountable for managing and resolving issues and escalating where necessary - cash and stock reconciliation breaks

What we're looking for:
• A proven record within an operational environment with experience in problem solving and knowledge of operational risk & control processes and practices
• Someone who thrives in a fast paced and changing environment
• Knowledge and understanding of FCA CASS rules
• Effective time management and prioritisation when working to multiple and challenging deadlines

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Investment Operations or industry experience
• Experience of reviewing and improving processes to enhance client experience
