Citi's Securities Services business supports the full securities lifecycle including custody, funds services, issuer services, collateral and lending. Citi is seeking a Product Manager who will work within the Digital Assets team and reporting to the Head of Digital Assets, to support digital asset initiatives across the Securities Services division. The Digital Assets team works within a group that leads global data, digital innovation and strategic initiatives across Secuities Services.

The candidate will help develop and execute product strategy, deliver internal initiatives, engage in external industry initiatives, interface with clients and contribute to thought leadership. The candidate will work closely with Product, Operations and Technology representatives across Securities Services to develop new capabilities. Responsibilities include strategy, product management, business case development, legal and risk analysis, supporting operations and technology requirements and developing commercial models.

Responsibilities:
  • Global remit and be responsible for managing initiatives, executing strategy to create new digital asset capabilities. The Product Manager will be required to work with the business owners to prioritize, develop and implement change in line with business drivers.
  • Digital assets subject matter expert
  • Contribute to strategy and drive execution
  • Represent the firm on external initiatives or advocacy efforts
  • Form partnerships with external partners
  • Understand, communicate and implement global strategies
  • Manage and support the product implementation process, ensuring active involvement of Coverage, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology and Product Management
  • Ensure preparation of business requirement documents including a clear definition of success criteria
  • Lead project teams
  • Develop commercial strategies for specific products
  • Support the sales process by communicating plans and developments with clients and Coverage, as appropriate
  • Maintain a close relationship with Operations & Technology and work in partnership to develop capabilities
  • Work with Risk, Legal and Compliance to ensure risks are understood, documented and mitigated
  • Influence regulatory change where possible
Experience & Skills Required
  • A strong understanding of digital assets, DLT and crypto.
  • It is essential that the candidate has hands on experience in delivering digital asset solutions
  • Proven client facing experience
  • Background in operational processes, technology platforms and front office activities desirable
  • Good inter-personal and communications skills

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Technology, Business, Finance or other related fields preferred although not essential
