As a Barclays Security Settlements and Asset Servicing (SSAS)Analyst, you will be part of the SSAS Retained Operations Oversight Team and is a global team responsible for a number of elements of the strategic partnership between the Bank and our third party provider. The Team provides oversight and governance of the processing tasks performed on a daily basis and manages relationships. You will undertake activities related to Security Settlements and Asset Servicing functions.

What will you be doing?
• Working as part of a Team responsible for the full end to end Security Settlements and Asset Servicing process
• Assisting the Functional Lead with the day to day management key stakeholders
• Proactively undertaking risk management of our activities
• Managing business engagement relationships
• Supporting delivery of enhancements to the operating model and infrastructure with our key internal and external stakeholders
• You will be an experienced functional team member committed to developing a culture of transparency and integrity

What we're looking for:
• You will have excellent communications both orally and via email Creating and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships will be essential
• Ability to work on multiple tasks, simultaneously managing challenging stakeholders and deadlines
• Experience producing MI & business packs for senior business stakeholders with a high level knowledge of the trade lifecycle and functions
• Experience of working within the Operations function of a top tier investment bank

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Have knowledge of Security Settlements and/or Asset Servicing flows
• Broad knowledge of securities markets including their rules and nuances
• Have a proven track record of being able to leverage strong communication, influencing & relationship management skills to drive change across an organization
• Experience of working with a third party vendors
