You MUST have the following:

  • Strong experience as .NET Developer/Software Engineer/Programmer
  • Expert level C#
  • .NET Core or .NET 6.0
  • Proficiency in design and architecture
  • Strong CI/CD ability
  • Agile

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

  • JavaScript
  • AWS
  • Finance, trading, FX, derivatives

Role: .NET Developer (C# Software Engineer Programmer Developer .NET Core 6.0 Agile JavaScript AWS Finance Trading Front Office FX Derivatives FOREX Asset Manager Investment Management Hedge Fund Trade) required by our asset manager in London. You will join a team of four engineers, spread over the UK and US, that will soon be 7, and 10 later on in the year. The team is responsible for building a new system in .NET 6.0 that allows FX trading for the company across all it's currency accounts and generates analysis on it's cash positions. A separate team is responsible for the legacy system so you would be exclusively building this greenfield product. The complete build is expected to take a few more years.

On the back end, they have .NET Core and .NET 6.0 with AWS and PostgreSQL. On the front end, they have Angular. Some JavaScript is beneficial but not required. You do not need cloud or finance to apply to this role.

To begin with, you could be the only London based engineer. This also means there is an openness to remote working where you would only be required to come into the London office once or twice a month.

Hours will be flexible. You are only required to work 8 hours and these could be fitted around school-runs or other commitments.

Salary: £110k - £140k + 20% Bonus + 10% Pension
