The Investment Performance Analyst will provide a hands-on approach to Investment Performance (and Attribution) and engage with colleagues across the business in order to provide specialist guidance regarding investment performance, reporting and analysis.

Bruin are seeking an Investment Performance Analyst to join our top-tier Asset Manager client on a permanent basis. The Investment Performance Analyst will provide a hands-on approach to Investment Performance (and Attribution) and engage with colleagues across the business in order to provide specialist guidance regarding investment performance, reporting and analysis.
Essential Responsibilities of the role:
- Provide execution of the performance function to ensure the ongoing quality and accuracy of reporting performance measurement.
- Produce Reporting within mandated and regulatory time frames.
- Extensive involvement in the preparation and response to RFPs and general client queries.
- Work with the data solutions team to ensure the accuracy of data across relevant portfolios, benchmarks, or other performance data.
- Assist in the automation of the production of performance and risk information.
- Preparation of client reports on a monthly basis.
Suitable candidate profiles:
- Practical knowledge of performance and attribution methodologies, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and coverage of both fixed income and equity products.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Experience with the use of Factset and/or Bloomberg.
- Have strong attention to detail, be numerate and logical in their approach to problem solving.
- Previous related experience in the asset management industry and demonstrating a thorough understanding of both retail and institutional products across various asset classes.
