Job Purpose Statement

Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are....

You will be responsible for managing the flow of information for EMEA/APAC, monitoring and managing broker relationships on behalf of the Fixed Income and Equity teams, to develop efficiencies by coordinating all external research and voting.

Role Responsibilities

How you'll spend your time....
  • Control the flow of information, monitoring and managing the tracking of externally provided research/meetings on behalf of Fixed Income and Equity teams for EMEA/APAC.
  • Liaise with external research providers to ensure Columbia Threadneedle Investments is receiving best service for best price.
  • Assess the data needs of the Investment Analysts and Portfolio Managers are being captured, processes are being followed and identify gaps to create solutions.
  • Measure and control the dissemination of the research to ensure compliance with MiFID II regulations for both sell side and subscription services.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and training of research (internal and external) of new team members through recent acquisition.
  • Working in partnership with North America broker and commission team and trading partners to ensure global coordination.
  • Develop efficiencies by coordinating internally with team to sync up with what is being consumed externally for research and corporate access.
  • Provide analysis of EMEA consumption trends to create a global view, in partnership with North America.
  • Maintain CRM system tracking relationship and monitoring on a quarterly basis to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Partner with the CIO/COO/Head of Research Relations to budget YoY based on dollar amount set by firm for voting budgets as well as sell side research pricing.
  • Responsible for implementation and facilitation of the quarterly research vote - creating efficiencies and relaying feedback to brokers.
  • Coordinate and compile on a quarterly basis Equity and Fixed Income payment schedules with the finance team.
  • Engage with legal and Compliance where necessary for contract execution for new providers and amendments.
