UCITs - Product Development - Asset Management

A great opportunity has arisen to join an Asset Management Company in London as a Product Developer.

Your duties will include

Work closely with other members of Product Development, Chief Operating Officer, Investment team, Business Development team and Legal and Compliance team, Product Development is responsible for following functions;
To initiate, plan and manage the implementation of new products for mainly clients in EMEA within our UCITS platform.

To ensure accurate and timely implementation of any changes to existing products within our UCITS platform

To maintain our strategies / products' data other than UCITS including performance, AUM and related information to deliver investment reports as well as ESG.

To prepare for UCITS Board of Director meeting, AGM, and periodical oversight due diligence requests
To ensure that all product documentations remain up to date, consistent and comply with relevant regulations. Examples are fund prospectus, fund financial statement, annual TER budgeting, regulatory templates, KIID, etc.
To ensure the fund/ share class is registered to support the distribution strategy
To work in partnership with Business Development team to prioritise the product pipeline of work for new products
To manage the new product launch process including:
- The launch of all new umbrella fund structures
- The launch of any new sub-funds or share classes of an existing fund umbrella
To ensure active and smooth communication with mainly UCITS related parties i.e, Fund Admin, Custodian
To implement effective market research from Product Development perspective

To manage and maintain any other information deemed necessary
To take care of other general affairs to help Product Development team

The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of UCITS structures and their legal and regulatory requirements across EU
markets (especially Luxembourg UCITS)
Experience in drafting and amending fund documentation in liaison with legal counsel or ManCo
A detailed understanding of how a fund operates e.g. distributions, tax, pricing, valuations.
