The Operations PMO was created in Jun 2021 and is responsible for maximising BDOs change investment; helping deliver Change in the most effective and efficient way; track, record and report on expectation, help build change delivery capability across the firm; and bring in teams to help the firm deliver. We'll help you succeed

In this role, you will work closely with the project/programme leads and key business stakeholders to define good practice and understand / facilitate emerging business changes and requirements.

You'll also:
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders to understand future and current BA needs offering solutions to immediate issues recruiting a pool of resources as required
  • Work with programme/project managers and key stakeholders to propose and define the most appropriate solutions for business supporting the BAs within the practice as appropriate
  • Work with key business stakeholders and programme/project managers to help define BA Outcomes and Key Results (OKRs) and support business to help draw out key OKR's.
  • Understand the key challenges, constraints and risks when proposing recommended solutions, ensuring they are aligned to strategic goals and benefits
  • Enable project/workstream leads/programme managers to focus on setting direction, providing input, building advocacy and help remove blockers, as appropriate
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand and capture inflight and emerging requirements and to translate these into functional and non-functional requirements supporting BAs within the practise as appropriate
  • Facilitate meetings incorporating business, technology, and user groups to gather business processes and requirements for projects of varying degrees of complexities
  • Map process designs to technology designs when considering how new processes impact on existing roles, people, and technology.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and translate high-level information into detailed specifications
  • Bas required, be the conduit / liaison between the business and the IT teams
  • Challenge business requests and processes offering alternative views to create an increase in effectiveness, identify opportunities for process innovation and where possible align with the firm's digital mind-set
  • Lead a team of Business Analysts
  • Empower others by collaborating on joint ideas and encouraging others to view change as a positive process
  • Develop tools/approaches that enable effective (utilising these on assigned programmes, as appropriate):
  • Negotiate effectively to achieve agreed courses of action with the stakeholders whilst maintaining buy-in
  • Build practices to support PM and PMO reporting
  • Drive and support business users to follow good governance practices
